Fractional Is Not a Compromise.

Fractional is not a compromise. It is what happens when senior expertise finally meets the market that needs it most.
For years the same conversation kept happening. A colleague would move to a smaller company, call me up, and say the same thing. Scott, I would love to work with you but I cannot afford you.
I heard that so many times I stopped being surprised by it. These were good companies with real problems. They knew exactly what they needed. They just had no way to access it.
A full-time VP of Total Rewards costs between $250,000 and $350,000 a year. For a company between 150 and 800 employees that is a commitment most cannot justify, even when the cost of not having that expertise is compounding every single day.
There was an entire market of companies that needed exactly what I knew how to do but could not afford a full-time VP of Total Rewards or a traditional consulting firm.
When the fractional model finally had a name, everything clicked. They cannot afford all of me. But they can afford a portion of me. And a portion of me is more than enough to solve the challenges they face.
That is not a lifestyle preference. It is the business model that puts senior compensation expertise in reach of companies that need it most. And it is exactly why I built Reward Factors.
Stop the Guesswork. Build the Guardrails.
